David S. Agum, Ph.D. – Secretary 


David S. Agum, Ph.D., is a distinguished academic and community leader with a focus on African and African Diaspora studies. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in African American Studies from Temple University in Philadelphia, an M.A. in African American World Studies from University of Iowa, and a B.A. in English/Linguistics from University of Jos in Nigeria.Currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Africana Studies at the University at Albany, SUNY, Dr. Agum's research interests span African and African Diaspora literatures, social and intellectual history, cultural studies, and social and political thought in Africa.
